Intelligent Finishing Systems has stepped up its presence in the laminating marketplace with the acquisition of the exclusive agency for leading Czech manufacturer Komfi in the UK and Ireland.

IFS has access to the entire Komfi industrial range from the entry-level B3 Amiga to the 130x190cm sheet size Sirius and is already showcasing the popular Amiga and Delta models at its Perivale showrooms.

Komfi laminators are robustly built and simple to run with intuitive controls and easy maintenance. Fast machine set-ups and adjustments help ensure economical operation. The Delta, which already has 300 installations globally, features accurate and controlled sheet feeding into the laminating unit, laminating roll dry heating (no heating liquid), zoned temperature control and high nip pressure. The bottom pressure rolls are also protected against ‘film-stick’.
