IFS is celebrating a record 40% increase in sales for the year ended December 31st 2014.
“We are very pleased with the results we have achieved this past year,” states Joint Managing Director Bryan Godwyn. “We believe it is the result of a combination of factors. We have an extensive product portfolio with systems from leading manufacturers including Horizon, Tecnau, Foliant, Petratto and Perfecta, our customers are very loyal and we ensure they are well supported.”
He continues: “Our machinery sales are up significantly on last year highlighting a growing trend for UK businesses to reinvest and create smoother, more efficient operations. Marked uplifts were noted in laminating, EVA and PUR perfect binding and stitching lines as more and more customers sought to make cost savings by bringing these services in house.
“Despite the economic crisis our partners continued to invest in developing affordable, easy to use and fast to set up systems. Increased automation assures flexibility to help the customer be more efficient while software developments deliver higher productivity, particularly important for quick turnaround short-run digital and offset jobs.”
He concludes: “This year has started strongly and we look forward to seeing how many more businesses we can help establish smooth end-to-end profitable in-house production.”
