Stewart Daniels

Born and educated in Glasgow, Stewart began his printing apprenticeship at John Watson & Co label printers, Glasgow, in 1981, where he worked on letterpress and sheetfed litho. He attained his City & Guilds at Glasgow College of Building and Printing and, within two years of qualification he was appointed Production Manager at John Watson & Co.

In 1993 he joined £20m turnover Oxfordshire-based greeting card specialist Wace Burgess also as Production Manager and, three years later, became Operations Manager for Alden Print’s colour division in Oxford.

On returning to Scotland in 1998 he joined Impress Graphics as Sales Director before leaving to set up Independent Equipment and Services (IES), his own company which specialises in used printing and print finishing equipment. In 2010 he was appointed to also represent the Intelligent Finishing Systems portfolio of advanced new bindery systems in Scotland.

Stewart’s interests include coaching youth and children’s football, playing golf and tennis and skiing.
