Automatic lay-flat production
The mitaBlock consists of a fully automatic section gluing machine for the economic manufacturing of lay-flat book blocks.
Folded sheets, coming from a section feeder or from the creasing and folding unit, are transported into the gluing station. Following the hot melt application, each section is re-registered before it is placed in perfect register onto a vacuum platform, which builds the book block, assuring a perfectly square spine. The same platform presses the finished block before placing it horizontally onto the delivery table
