The Roll r20 solution features the Unwind u20 and Rewind r20 which produce high quality, tightly wound rolls ready for inserting or near line finishing. The Unwind u20 features a new air-shaft design for smooth high-speed feeding of a paper roll up to 22.5” wide and 52” in diameter into the digital press. The Unwind u20 is easy to use with a vibrant touch screen control panel, automatic detection of roll feed direction and semi-automatic roll loading.
Once the paper is printed, the Rewind r20 rewinds a full 52” roll at speeds up to 750 feet per minute. The Rewind r20 has an automated loop control for quick and easy loading of the paper web. It also includes an automatic tension control system making it easy to switch between applications of varying paper weights.
Other features of the Rewind r20 include an interactive touch screen display and compatibility with multiple core sizes. Options are also available for automated web guiding and center slitting.
